About this tool
Zed is a native, high-speed editor that can host other agents through the Agent Client Protocol. Teams use it when they want the agent in a lightweight UI instead of a terminal wall of text.
It is not a full Cursor replacement for everyone. It is a strong pick for people who already live in Claude Code or Codex and want diffs in an editor.
