About this app

muet is a native macOS app for recording meetings, generating live transcripts, recognizing speakers, and creating summaries and action items. Transcription and AI processing run locally on your Mac.

Recordings and transcripts are saved in a searchable meeting library. Users can replay audio, edit speaker names and notes, regenerate summaries, and ask an assistant questions about saved meetings.

The muet Mic virtual microphone adds noise cancellation and automatic meeting capture for supported meeting apps.

A seven-day trial is available.
