About this tool
Animate (formerly Flash Professional) is Adobe's 2D animation and interactive timeline tool. It is a desktop app. There is no iPad edition that replaces it.
Reach for it when you need symbols, classic tweens, or HTML5/canvas export. For hand-drawn frames on the sofa, use Procreate Dreams, ToonSquid, or Callipeg instead.
