About this tool
Procreate is the iPad drawing app most illustrators open first. The brush engine, gesture UI, time-lapse, and Page Assist are built around Apple Pencil. Savage Interactive still sells it as a one-time purchase and still refuses generative AI.
It is iPad-only. There is no Mac or Windows sibling. Finish print or vector work in Affinity, Illustrator, or Photoshop. Do not buy it expecting a comic-panel studio or a Figma-style design system.
